Building Automation Field Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and train a team of Field Engineers to ensure successful execution of new construction building automation projects.
• Manage direct reports, including conducting yearly and semi-yearly performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to maximize project execution, task assignment, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project budgets and perform quality control on all work performed by field staff.
• Maintain project schedules by coordinating with electrical subcontractors and other trades.
• Provide technical assistance and become proficient in all necessary programming and graphical work for assigned projects.
• Ensure accurate documentation, including daily logs, timesheets, and project reports using Cora PPM.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in the HVAC controls industry.
• Valid and current Driver’s License.
• Ability to travel in excess of 25%, including air travel and overnight stays.
• Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, use lift equipment, and lift items up to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or a related subject matter.
• Previous leadership experience with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Experience with Automated Logic and Phoenix software (WebCtrl, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, etc.).
• Understanding of third-party control systems and integrations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
