About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for visitors and employees through dusting, polishing, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, and cleaning restrooms.
  • Perform floor care, furniture extraction, and manage trash, recycling, and compost containers.
  • Provide custodial support in various areas including the lobby, dining areas, galleries, Omni theater, classrooms, and office spaces.
  • Assist with facility support tasks such as moving furniture, light assembly, and restocking supplies in break rooms and meeting rooms.
  • Support grounds and parking ramp maintenance, including litter pick-up, sweeping, power washing, and winter maintenance like light shoveling and ice mitigation.
  • Operate various equipment safely, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and snow removal machinery.
  • Communicate property damage or equipment breakdowns to supervisors and ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous custodial experience.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, moving furniture, and working in various weather conditions for grounds maintenance.
