Building Administrator

Responsibilities

• Serve as the chief executive and primary leader of the skilled nursing facility, owning end-to-end operations, resident care standards, financial performance, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee all aspects of facility management, including resident care, staffing, clinical services, and administrative workflows
• Lead change management and team development initiatives, including staff training and policy updates
• Monitor key performance indicators such as resident census, quality measures, regulatory survey results, and budget adherence
• Ensure full compliance with federal (CMS) and state (Maryland Office of Health Care Quality) regulations
• Manage budgeting, financial operations, revenue cycle, and expense control
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and community stakeholders

Requirements

• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in Maryland preferred or eligible to obtain promptly
• Experience in skilled nursing facility management, long-term care operations, or regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, labor management, and quality improvement
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work on-site with local travel within the Baltimore metro and Maryland suburbs
