Responsibilities
- Build and test in-house robots and scanners following engineering instructions
- Organize and maintain build facilities, tools, and supplies
- Provide feedback to engineers regarding build design and instructions
- Assist operations team with customer installs, packing, and occasional travel
- Perform incoming inspection of custom parts using part drawings
- Collaborate with R&D and field service engineers to refine technical documents and SOPs
Requirements
- 2+ years professional experience assembling robotic systems or complex machinery
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measurement tools, and electrical tools (multimeter)
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, assembly SOPs, and test processes
- Ability to move items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco and travel occasionally, including nights and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical components, and sensors used in robotics or automation
