Build Technician (Electromechanical/Mechatronics)

Responsibilities

• Build electro-mechanical assemblies according to CAD, drawings, and work instructions
• Perform precise mechanical assembly using hand tools, adhesive applicators, crimp tools, and torque wrenches
• Route, label, and secure complex harnesses
• Test assemblies using jigs, fixtures, electrical test equipment, and compute devices
• Document test findings and results
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and equipment integrity
• Collaborate with engineers and leadership to improve build speed and quality

Requirements

• Experience in electromechanical assembly or low-rate production of complex systems
• Background in robotics, aerospace, or automotive industries preferred
• Ability to read CAD, mechanical drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Hands-on experience with soldering, torqueing, and common workshop tools
• Ability to work in a high-urgency environment with evolving designs
