Build Reliability Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Manage design standardization, DFM, and configuration management
• Review work instructions and develop manufacturing processes
• Perform in-process build verification and coordinate travelled work
• Manage nonconformance ticket processes and root cause/corrective action
• Spearhead specification development and quality inspection automation
• Collaborate with Engineering, Additive, Manufacturing, Test, and Launch teams

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or STEM field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing
• Experience interfacing with design, manufacturing, and test personnel
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and complex assembly practices
• Proficiency with GD&T and working knowledge of PLM, MES, ERP, and QMS software
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, SPC, and PPV
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) of hardware systems
• Familiarity with high-volume inspection and data-driven acceptance methods
• Understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 standards
