About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage design standardization, DFM, and configuration management
- Review work instructions and develop manufacturing processes
- Perform in-process build verification and coordinate travelled work
- Manage nonconformance ticket processes and root cause/corrective action
- Spearhead specification development and quality inspection automation
- Collaborate with Engineering, Additive, Manufacturing, Test, and Launch teams
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or STEM field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing
- Experience interfacing with design, manufacturing, and test personnel
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and complex assembly practices
- Proficiency with GD&T and working knowledge of PLM, MES, ERP, and QMS software
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, SPC, and PPV
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) of hardware systems
- Familiarity with high-volume inspection and data-driven acceptance methods
- Understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 standards
