Build Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy build and release automation workflow using Jenkins
• Pro-actively improve and automate build processes
• Trace complex build, release, and environment issues in multi-component environments
• Maintain and enhance release procedures and processes
• Coordinate release activities with Project Managers, Q&A Lead, and Development teams
• Write process documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Build and Release Engineer
• 2+ years of experience building continuous integration pipelines
• Extensive experience with configuration management systems like Chef, Puppet, or Jenkins
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix development environments
• Scripting experience with Ruby, Python, or Shell
• Experience with GIT, Jenkins, and Node.js
• Fluency in build scripting languages such as MAKE or CONS
• Experience with Unity 3D engine
• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Embedded Software, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering
• Experience with embedded systems or automotive technology is desired
