Budget Analyst CCaRs

Responsibilities

• Execute and track USAF funds across multiple appropriations within the program office
• Use Web CCaR to conduct forecasting, obligation/expenditure tracking, reconciliation, and budget loading
• Perform tri-annual reviews in FMSuite and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Research and analyze open documents using CCaR, CRIS, SDW, and EDA
• Work with DFAS to resolve ULO/NULO discrepancies
• Prepare reprogramming packages, realignment requests, and shortfall analyses
• Support expiring-year funds monitoring and end-of-year closeout actions
• Generate financial charts, briefings, and written reports for senior leadership
• Ensure compliance with Appropriation Law, PPBE, and DoD/USAF financial regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
• 10+ years of USAF financial management or budget analysis experience
• Proficiency with Web CCaR, CRIS, ABSS, DTS, GAFS, SMART, PMRT, SDW, EDA, MOCAS, and FMSuite
• Strong knowledge of Appropriation Law (Time, Purpose, Amount) and PPBE processes
• Experience preparing PRs, MORDs, MIPRs, AF 616s, and POs
• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting AFLCMC, EPASS, or DoD program offices
• Understanding of USAF Congressional funding processes and AFM systems
• Experience with PMA budget planning and end-of-year execution
• Familiarity with compliance reviews, audits, and MICT processes
• Master's degree or MBA
