Bucket Truck Operator/Sign Crew Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate aerial lift and bucket trucks at heights of 20+ feet for overhead sign installation and repair
• Install, replace, and maintain overhead span wire signs, gore signs, and extruded panel signage
• Operate fleet equipment including flatbed trucks and attenuator trucks
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on trucks, lifts, and job equipment
• Utilize power tools and hydraulic equipment for fabrication and installation
• Maintain materials inventory and ensure equipment readiness
• Respond to emergencies, including after-hours and weekend work as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proven experience operating bucket trucks or aerial lifts
• Strong mechanical aptitude (experience with hydraulic, electrical, or equipment troubleshooting preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights in extreme weather conditions
• Valid Class C Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL
• Ability to obtain Traffic Control Certification
