BSW Program Manager Assistant/Associate Professor

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the operations and functions of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program
• Teach residential (seated) courses in social work and potentially distance learning courses
• Supervise faculty and manage curriculum and assessments for student learning outcomes
• Serve as a subject matter expert and academic advisor to BSW students
• Manage program quality in accordance with SACSCOC and CSWE accreditation standards
• Engage in scholarly activities, research, grantsmanship, and mentorship of faculty and students
• Support student recruitment and retention efforts

Requirements

• MSW from a CSWE-accredited program
• 5+ years of post-MSW social work practice experience in direct practice or administration
• 2 years of higher education teaching experience or experience as a higher education social work consultant

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in social work or a closely related field
• Current social work license (LMSW, LCSW, or LICSW)
• Experience in strategic planning, leadership, budgeting, and management
