BSN Program Director, Nursing Instructor/Asst Prof

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the BSN program within the Leach College of Nursing
• Coordinate program activities, supervise adjunct faculty, and promote student success
• Collaborate on curriculum development, assessment, and other academic matters
• Teach selected nursing courses and participate in scholarly activities and research
• Serve on University and College governance committees
• Facilitate program marketing and assist in student recruitment and retention
• Manage data collection and report completion for the program

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing
• Current RN license in Illinois (or eligibility for Illinois licensure)
• Two years of clinical nursing practice experience
• Teaching experience in baccalaureate and/or graduate nursing programs
• Willingness to uphold the mission, vision, and Franciscan values of the University of St. Francis

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate (DNP or Ph.D.) in nursing or a related field
• Previous experience in nursing leadership
