Brooklyn Summer Sports Camp Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned summer camp operations to ensure a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Manage the daily sign-in and dismissal processes for all campers.
• Actively oversee the Recreation Center throughout the camp day.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the camp facilities.
• Uphold LIU policies when managing conflicts with patrons and staff.
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude to engage with all participants.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children.
• Experience working with summer camps or team-specific sports.
• Experience managing staff members.
• Ability to work flexible hours Monday through Friday.
• Ability to travel occasionally to other LIU campuses for training and meetings.
