Bronx Asthma Program Director

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and assistance in the design and implementation of evaluation projects
• Oversee asthma program staff and manage all programmatic and operational activities
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Bronx Asthma Program
• Conduct research to identify emerging trends, disparities, and best practices in asthma care
• Design and implement research studies to evaluate program effectiveness
• Analyze data to inform program improvements and policy recommendations
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present research at conferences
• Manage grant reports, budgets, and expenditures
• Strengthen collaboration with community-based and healthcare organizations
• Represent the bureau and department at local and national meetings

Requirements

• Master's degree in physical, biological, environmental science, or public health
• Experience in research, administration, or supervisory capacity
• Clinical knowledge of pediatric asthma and management initiatives
• Experience with IRB-approved protocols and sensitive data management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
