Broking Internship

Responsibilities

• Work alongside world-class experienced brokers in a live market environment
• Complete rotations across various freight and commodities broking desks
• Gain practical exposure to how markets, relationships, and deals come together
• Conduct stimulating research projects and deliver presentations

Requirements

• Proven sales background or experience in a performance-driven, customer-focused environment
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical thinking and numerical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
• Fluency in English
• A tenacious, driven, and personable nature with the ability to build rapport quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with commodities such as steel, scrap metal, iron ore, or shipping
• An interest in shipping, commodities, or global markets
• Ability to speak additional languages
