Broker

Responsibilities

• Place, retain, and service existing LatAm cedants within the Facultative GB business unit
• Develop and convert new business opportunities to meet high growth targets
• Manage relationships and negotiate placements with the (re)insurance market
• Identify appropriate markets and determine effective placing strategies
• Create and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international markets
• Prepare client presentations and assist in determining appropriate solutions, structure, and pricing
• Drive the sales process through research, meetings, and responding to RFPs
• Ensure compliance with WTW guidelines, FCA requirements, and contract certainty standards
• Maintain accurate data within CRM and relevant broking platforms

Requirements

• Proven track record in Insurance Broking or Underwriting
• Strong knowledge of the (re)insurance market
• Experience in retail, (re)insurance, and retrocession placements
• ACII qualification or currently working towards it
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically advanced Excel usage
• Experience with Power BI and broking systems
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team under pressure
