Broker Trader - Equities/Index

Responsibilities

• Make markets on options for brokers and banks using chat and voice platforms
• Identify and execute marketplace opportunities to impact team P&L
• Provide liquidity by making competitive quotes for inter-dealer brokers and trading floor orders
• Collaborate with screen traders and experienced team members in a fast-paced environment
• React quickly and accurately to rapidly changing market conditions

Requirements

• 2+ years of options market making experience in equities or indices
• Existing business relationships with inter-dealer, floor, or direct counterparty brokers
• Strong mathematical aptitude to maximize opportunities in high-pressure environments
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain professional business relationships
