Broker Trader

Responsibilities

• Make markets on options for brokers and banks using chat and voice platforms
• Identify and execute marketplace opportunities to impact team P&L
• Provide competitive quotes and execute against orders on the trading floor
• Collaborate with screen traders and experienced team members in a fast-paced environment
• React quickly and accurately to rapidly changing market conditions

Requirements

• 2+ years of options market making experience
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to solve math problems under pressure
• Existing business relationships with inter-dealer, floor, or direct counterparty brokers
• Effective communication and superior interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as an entrepreneurial self-starter in a high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

• VBA or Python programming skills
