Broker or Underwriter Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support daily brokerage or underwriting operations by managing documentation, filing, and administrative tasks
• Coordinate with brokers and underwriters to prepare documents, cover letters, and policy instructions
• Maintain and update accurate client information and transaction records in internal systems
• Perform customer service functions by responding to requests via email, telephone, or chat
• Assist with reporting, including exposure data, loss runs, and compliance reports
• Help identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Recent graduate (May 2024 – May 2026)
• Pursuing or completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
• Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Clear and concise communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Major in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Prior internship experience in a professional office environment
