About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex portfolio of international accounts, focusing on the placement, service, and delivery of multinational client solutions.
  • Perform thorough analysis of international risk transfer or alternative risk programs, including coverage and cost analysis.
  • Design insurance program structures and provide benchmarking reports related to limits and programs.
  • Prepare marketplace insurance submissions and lead market meetings and negotiations.
  • Finalize program quotes and present comprehensive comparisons of program options to clients.
  • Lead renewal strategy discussions and serve as a primary or secondary market contact.
  • Educate and advise team members on coverage issues, markets, and related developments.
  • Support new business production by preparing conceptual program responses to RFPs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as an international broker or underwriter, specifically working on complex placements.
  • Expertise in international casualty programs and a solid understanding of insurance company management and underwriting.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • Valid Property and Casualty Brokers License (or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for interacting with clients and industry professionals.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage account responsibilities effectively.
