About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of middle market accounts, overseeing placement, service, and client results for Property and Casualty risks.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Producers to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and prospective business.
- Prepare and review client-ready documentation, including proposals, analysis, comparisons, and mid-term changes.
- Negotiate with underwriters to establish optimal terms, conditions, and premiums.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers specializing in Middle Market P&C business.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to Associate Brokers and broking support teams.
- Drive the utilization of technology throughout the broking and client service processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of relevant P&C insurance business experience.
- Proven knowledge of Casualty (Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Umbrella/Excess) and Property coverages.
- Strong understanding of Middle Market P&C risks and carrier appetites.
- Proficiency in Benchmarking and Loss Analysis.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license within 90 days of hire.
