Broker II, Middle Market Practice

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of middle market accounts, overseeing placement, service, and client results for Property and Casualty risks.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Producers to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and prospective business.
• Prepare and review client-ready documentation, including proposals, analysis, comparisons, and mid-term changes.
• Negotiate with underwriters to establish optimal terms, conditions, and premiums.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers specializing in Middle Market P&C business.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to Associate Brokers and broking support teams.
• Drive the utilization of technology throughout the broking and client service processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant P&C insurance business experience.
• Proven knowledge of Casualty (Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, General Liability, Umbrella/Excess) and Property coverages.
• Strong understanding of Middle Market P&C risks and carrier appetites.
• Proficiency in Benchmarking and Loss Analysis.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license within 90 days of hire.
