About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute insurance placements from non-binding indications through to binding and confirmation of cover
- Broker transactions across products including Political Risk, Comprehensive Non-Payment, and Political Risk Programmes
- Prepare market submissions, analyze client requirements, and coordinate market feedback
- Support and develop client relationships from initial engagement to first policy placement
- Structure solutions for clients operating in both OECD and developing markets
- Assist with slips, endorsements, policy processing, monitoring tools, and invoicing workflows
- Support claims processes and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across the Financial & Specialty platform
Requirements
- Understanding of insurance market dynamics, core broking processes, and placement structures
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with Lloyd’s and company market underwriters
- Exposure to policy wording negotiations and transaction documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage and support effective client relationships
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and utilize data effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional language skills, particularly French
