Broadcast Mobile Unit Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Plan technical requirements for live broadcasts, including technical scheme design and equipment selection.
• Coordinate logistics for mobile unit deployments, including travel, schedules, and setup/teardown.
• Direct and supervise the technical team during live events (camera operators, sound, video, RF, and engineering).
• Oversee the assembly, configuration, and testing of all technical systems prior to broadcast.
• Monitor signal chains (video, audio, data, and communications) to ensure continuous operation.
• Resolve technical incidents in real-time under high-pressure live broadcast conditions.
• Act as the technical liaison between production, directing, and major clients such as Movistar and DAZN.
• Supervise complex systems including multi-camera production, RF systems, and IP networks applied to broadcast.

Requirements

• Higher degree in Engineering or a technical field related to television, telecommunications, or electronics.
• Proven experience working with mobile broadcast units.
• Knowledge of electronic equipment maintenance and operation for television broadcasting.
• Proficiency in IP network systems and basic electricity.
• Valid driving license.
• Full availability to travel and work weekends.
• English proficiency (B2 level) is considered a plus.
