Broadcast Hub Operator

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manipulate on-air playlists and execute program/commercial/marketing changes
• Support live-event and off-air workflows and troubleshoot channel playout issues
• Manage ingest and quality control of broadcast materials into automation systems
• Manage commercial integration during taped and live programming
• Monitor and maintain continuity and availability for multiple channel streams
• Act as first line responders for internal clients
• Monitor audio, video, captioning, and picture quality to protect air integrity
• Work with Technical Managers to recover from on-air discrepancies

Requirements

• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience
• Basic understanding of television production and broadcast operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and Excel
• Knowledge of video/audio routing equipment, file servers, and automation systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve broadcast issues quickly
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC
• Availability for flexible hours including overnights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a master control or production control room environment
• Proven passion for media, television, and technology
