About the role
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of broadcast systems in a primary hub environment supporting air paths and OTT for all TEGNA stations across the US
- Integrate, maintain, operate, and support broadcast equipment
- Create and maintain wiring documentation and system configuration documentation
- Stay current on technological advances in television broadcasting and associated equipment
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working on elevated surfaces, and installing wiring
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide quality customer service to internal and external customers
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Electronics, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum of three years of broadcast maintenance experience in a television broadcasting environment or hub
- In-depth knowledge of broadcast technologies, including distribution, signal processing, routing systems, video servers, media workflows, automation, and control
- Ability to work a flexible 24x7x365 schedule
- Ability to make solid decisions under pressure and work well with others
