Broadcast Associate, Edit

Responsibilities

• Produce and edit video elements including Voice Overs (VOs), Sound On Tape (SOTs), and Teases
• Produce in-game and full game recap highlights for MLBN, NHLN, and digital platforms
• Write shot sheets for on-air Talent
• Create promotional content, sales reels, and sponsored content for Sales and Marketing
• Assist with projects for third-party clients like MiLB and Little League World Series
• Oversee and coordinate the Logging Department and Commercial Ad Insertion for MLB.TV

Requirements

• 0 to 3 years of experience in a related field
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or similar editing software
• Experience with Diamond Logger, ENPS, and other editing programs
• Deep knowledge of baseball and/or hockey
• Ability to work on-site with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, or a related major
