About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare all breakfast items including eggs, meats, quick breads, and scratch baking
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Follow all food safety, HACCP, and sanitation protocols
- Oversee sandwich makers and front-of-house stocking during service
- Perform end-of-shift cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal
- Receive and store food, beverage, and chemical supplies
- Supervise team members and monitor performance during the shift
Requirements
- Previous experience providing high-volume hot breakfast service
- Experience with high-volume scratch or pre-fab baking
- Current Food Safe certificate
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Valid government-issued photo ID
Preferred Qualifications
- Large-scale cooking experience in camp settings, banquet halls, or hotels
- Red Seal certification or other culinary certifications
- Experience producing weekly inventories
- Previous supervisory experience
