Breakfast Cook

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking breakfast for guests at site
• Ensuring consistent quality of food preparation including special dietary constraints
• Ensuring proper equipment operation, safety, and sanitization
• Complying with food safety regulations and the Food Safety Act
• Cleaning, washing, and sanitizing equipment and work areas
• Preparing adequate quantities of menu choices following production quotas and budget guidelines
• Following proper storage and rotation of all food supplies

Requirements

• Previous experience providing high-volume hot breakfast service
• Current Food Safe certificate
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, kneel, or sit for extended periods
• Valid government-issued photo ID
• Ability to complete a Criminal Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

• Large-scale cooking experience in camp settings, banquet halls, or hotels
• Red Seal certification
• Experience producing weekly inventories
• Experience with scratch baking or pre-fab items
• Previous supervisory experience
