Breakfast Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast menu as approved by Chef
• Prepare fruit bars, breakfast sandwiches, and omelet ingredients
• Cook eggs to order and prepare breakfast specials like pancakes and waffles
• Set up and take down steam tables
• Clean and sanitize all work areas, equipment, and kitchen surfaces
• Maintain organized cooler and stock areas
• Ensure food presentation and portioning meet standards
• Document temperatures of coolers and freezers
• Assist with kitchen clean-up including garbage and floors

Requirements

• Previous experience providing high-volume hot breakfast service
• Current Food Safe certificate
• Ability to pass drug, alcohol, and health assessments
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Valid government-issued photo ID
• Resilience to work in remote northern climates and isolation

Preferred Qualifications

• Large-scale cooking experience in camp settings, banquet halls, or hotels
• Red Seal certification
• Experience with weekly inventory production
• Experience in scratch baking or producing baked goods
• Previous supervisory experience
