Breakfast Buffet Attendant

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, maintain, and replenish the hotel breakfast buffet
• Prepare fresh fruit displays, cut fruit, and buffet garnishes to hotel standards
• Assist with breakfast items including pastries, breads, cereals, condiments, and beverages
• Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean, attractive, and fully stocked buffet throughout service
• Replenish food, beverages, utensils, plates, and condiments as needed
• Assist guests with questions regarding buffet offerings
• Assist with banquet food preparation, setup, breakdown, and cleanup
• Clean and sanitize workstations, buffet equipment, and service areas
• Follow all Marriott, Blue Sky Hospitality, and Health Department food safety standards

Requirements

• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hotel, restaurant, breakfast attendant, buffet attendant, or food preparation experience
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Banquet or catering experience
