Breakdown Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance between drivers, vendors, and stakeholders
• Execute vendor management program and negotiate pricing for tires, parts, and services
• Create repair orders within Fleetio
• Communicate breakdowns, accidents, and incidents to Operations, Safety, and Risk Management
• Manage incoming calls via pre-defined queues and interact with digital in-cab communications
• Review and authorize repair estimates while ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance
• Access OEM websites to review action codes and resolve unit issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Previous experience as a service writer, call center agent, or in mechanical roles
• Experience in the transportation industry
• OEM maintenance certifications
