Breakdown Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance between drivers, vendors, and stakeholders
• Execute vendor management program and negotiate pricing for tires, parts, and services
• Create repair orders within Dossier
• Communicate breakdowns, accidents, and incidents to Operations, Safety, and Risk Management
• Manage incoming calls via pre-defined queues and interact with digital communications from in-cab devices
• Access OEM websites to review action codes and resolve issues
• Review and scrutinize repair estimates to authorize approved repairs
• Ensure compliance with all DOT/FMCSA Regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Previous call center, service writer, or mechanical experience
• Experience in the transportation industry
• OEM maintenance certifications
