Brazing/FIC Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain high-temperature vacuum furnaces and related atomization equipment
• Prepare raw material charges and operate furnace control boards, including adjusting temperature, timing, and atmospheric conditions
• Perform cleaning, quality inspections, and setup tasks for vacuum atomization furnaces
• Assemble and braze metal and ceramic components using various brazing alloys
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and programs to anneal and harden metal parts
• Perform minor repairs on furnaces, atomization chambers, and auxiliary equipment
• Maintain strict quality standards and adhere to all safety and environmental requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating vacuum furnaces
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic mathematical conversions
• Proficiency in basic computer applications
• Ability and willingness to work with high-temperature ovens and furnaces
• Availability to work overtime as operational needs require
