Energy Central is a B2B media platform owned by Smooth that empowers, engages, and educates 120,000 utility and power professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of B2B brand relationships across target industries
  • Develop thoughtful, tailored media plans that connect brand goals to the audience
  • Lead the full sales cycle from outreach through close
  • Partner closely with editorial and account teams to ensure campaign execution
  • Identify upsell and renewal opportunities with existing brand partners

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B media sales, advertising, or brand partnerships
  • Proven track record of building pipeline and hitting revenue targets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for pitching to senior leaders
  • Ability to work onsite in NYC (Monday-Thursday)
  • Genuine curiosity about the energy industry

Benefits

  • Base salary of $75,000 plus commission
  • On-target earnings ranging from $150,000 to $250,000+ depending on year
