About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in management, setup, and breakdown of promotional events
- Engage and educate consumers at the point of experience, purchase, and consumption
- Humanize brands and build consumer trust through education and product sampling
- Distribute premiums and point-of-sale materials as directed
- Establish relationships with account staff at bars and retail stores
- Complete post-event recaps and digital reporting via the MKTG reporting website
- Take digital event photos and contribute to the market’s social media account
- Troubleshoot event challenges and report on competitive activity in the market
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Valid US driver’s license and own reliable transportation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- 20 hours of daytime and/or evening availability per week
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods and carry heavy trays or boxes
- Previous promotional or marketing experience
- English language proficiency (written and verbal); bilingual Spanish/English candidates encouraged
