About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee personnel, medical, benefit, and I-9 files in accordance with company and legal policies
  • Serve as the primary contact for branch management regarding benefits, payroll discrepancies, and compliance reporting
  • Assist with the annual open enrollment process and provide first-line answers to benefit-related questions
  • Oversee the administration of the company uniform program, including sizing, issuance, and tracking
  • Assist with workers’ compensation claims management and coordinate leave of absence (LOA) paperwork
  • Maintain post-hire data entry in WinTeam and coordinate with Payroll to ensure accuracy
  • Conduct monthly HR-related audits and process weekly reports under the direction of Corporate HR
  • Coordinate employee relations programs and respond to inquiries regarding unemployment claims

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior work experience in a professional administrative environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and office management technology
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing assignments in a busy environment
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree in business, human resources, or a related field
  • Previous experience in human resources or recruiting
  • Experience using iCIMS or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Experience using WinTeam or other Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Experience using DOMO or other business intelligence tools
