About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain employee personnel, medical, benefit, and I-9 files in accordance with company and legal policies
- Serve as the primary contact for branch management regarding benefits, payroll discrepancies, and compliance reporting
- Assist with the annual open enrollment process and provide first-line answers to benefit-related questions
- Oversee the administration of the company uniform program, including sizing, issuance, and tracking
- Assist with workers’ compensation claims management and coordinate leave of absence (LOA) paperwork
- Maintain post-hire data entry in WinTeam and coordinate with Payroll to ensure accuracy
- Conduct monthly HR-related audits and process weekly reports under the direction of Corporate HR
- Coordinate employee relations programs and respond to inquiries regarding unemployment claims
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in a professional administrative environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and office management technology
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing assignments in a busy environment
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in business, human resources, or a related field
- Previous experience in human resources or recruiting
- Experience using iCIMS or other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Experience using WinTeam or other Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Experience using DOMO or other business intelligence tools
