About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in Northern Cape and support the Regional Manager to achieve business objectives
- Manage petty cash usage and provide monthly revenue updates
- Plan, organize, and control operations and manpower resources
- Support field auditors, inspectors, and HSE & quality coordinators
- Monitor operational performance and maintain technical/operational procedures
- Implement and maintain Quality Control and Safety systems
- Ensure liaison and technical support for clients
- Assist with complaints, claim resolution, and proposal coordination
- Adhere to all quality, safety, and QHSE requirements and company legislation
- Manage staff scheduling to minimize overtime while maintaining safe operating conditions
Requirements
- 5 years of management experience
- Experience in staff scheduling
- Experience in safety and quality management
- Experience in sample preparation
- Knowledge of SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment)
- Proficiency in English (Read, Speak, Write)
- Ability to perform manual sampling of lumpy ore and ferroalloy
- Knowledge of VLC SANAS ISO17025
