Branch Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise service technicians, providing daily direction, field coaching, and performance reinforcement
• Oversee technician and electrician workflows to ensure safe work practices and efficient job execution
• Drive technician productivity by monitoring utilization metrics and performance targets
• Serve as the first line of technical escalation for field work and troubleshooting
• Coordinate technician dispatch to maximize field coverage and balance workloads
• Schedule and track required technician training, including technical certifications and safety compliance
• Provide on-site supervision and hands-on field work when needed to support job completion
• Manage the technician service-truck fleet and ensure DOT compliance
• Maintain accurate labor reporting, work orders, and ADP payroll entries

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, operations, engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in electrical service, maintenance, construction, or field operations
• Experience leading and managing field-based electrical technicians or service crews
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and safety standards
• Experience coordinating field service activities and optimizing technician productivity
• Proficiency with work order management systems and CMMS
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
