Branch Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations teams across the district to increase market share, customer loyalty, and operational efficiency.
• Support the District Manager in improving safety, profitability, effectiveness, and accuracy of branch operations.
• Develop local sales growth and operational strategies and roadmaps.
• Oversee employee performance, engagement, hiring, resource allocation, and succession planning.
• Conduct routine branch visits to evaluate performance, safety compliance, inventory levels, and training gaps.
• Provide training and conduct audits on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety management systems.
• Compile and communicate branch metrics, identifying best practices and sharing them across the district.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between branch associates, field sales teams, and specialists.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five years of increasing responsibility in branch retail sales or branch/production operations.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint.
• Strong independent judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and make recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Prior experience with sales or operations in the distribution industry.
• Prior experience using SAP.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, MSDS, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen for interpreting sales and branch metrics.
