About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise teller functions to ensure exceptional customer service and compliance
- Manage the daily operations and scheduling of the teller line
- Coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team of direct reports to meet business objectives
- Resolve operational issues and customer concerns under the direction of regional management
- Ensure timely completion and quality of teller functions while adhering to risk management policies
- Mentor talent and assist in the hiring process for branch staff
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or issue resolution
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- Experience with cash handling
- Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services management within a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of banking industry laws, regulations, and retail compliance controls
- Ability to educate customers on mobile banking and digital technology
- Strong critical thinking and independent judgment skills
