About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct all activities of a small to medium full-service branch office to ensure efficient operations and high-quality member service
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the branch team to achieve product, service, and business goals
  • Oversee cash operations, vault procedures, and branch self-auditing efforts to secure credit union assets
  • Manage staff performance through recruiting, onboarding, training, and conducting regular performance appraisals
  • Drive branch productivity by implementing employee training and eliminating operational inefficiencies
  • Lead local marketing and promotional activities, including financial presentations and community events
  • Ensure strict compliance with all security, safety, federal consumer lending regulations, and HR policies
  • Analyze reports and business trends to optimize branch performance and solve complex problems

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in grade level 76 or equivalent applicable external experience
  • Proven experience leading and managing in complex or diverse operational environments
  • Advanced knowledge of federal regulations governing consumer lending, mortgages, and depository accounts
  • Experience supervising, training, and developing staff
  • Strong knowledge of cash and ATM operations
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, and internal procedures
