Branch Manager Trainee

Responsibilities

• Mentor the branch team on advice-giving strategies and banking solutions to improve customer financial confidence
• Develop and implement business development strategies to meet branch objectives and budget requirements
• Act as the highest point of escalation for customer issues to ensure effective resolution
• Oversee complex administrative duties related to mutual funds, real estate secured credit, and compliance
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining accuracy in all customer transactions and adhering to bank policies
• Cultivate a positive, customer-focused work environment that promotes productivity and professionalism
• Liaise with Wealth and Business Banking partners to stay updated on industry regulations and emerging issues

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and/or over 5 years of relevant banking experience
• Completion of Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) training
• Completion of IFIC or CSC Course
• Proficiency in MS Office and various internet applications
• Strong strategic thinking skills with knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with customers and cross-functional teams
• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
• Geographic mobility within the assigned district upon completion of the training program
