Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse sales and service team to achieve branch financial objectives.
• Manage branch workloads, including recruiting, hiring, and promoting team members.
• Establish individual and overall branch goals in collaboration with the District Vice-President.
• Oversee the implementation of bank policies, procedures, and operational excellence guidelines.
• Manage and minimize risk by acting as the Branch Compliance Officer for mutual fund sales.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements including AML, KYC, Privacy, and FCAC.
• Maintain a strong business profile and professional image within the local community.

Requirements

• Licensed to sell mutual funds.
• Successful completion of the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or Bank Recognized equivalent).
• Proven experience in people management and performance management techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of credit risk adjudication policies and processes.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, Privacy, etc.).
• Willingness and ability to relocate or travel within the Ontario Central East region.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience managing branch routines and operating procedures.
• Strong sales management and leadership skills with the ability to influence others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
