About the role

Responsibilities

  • Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects
  • Develop and execute branch business plans to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition
  • Conduct sales calls and establish personal referral networks to achieve business objectives
  • Advise customers on products and strategies that meet their financial objectives
  • Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement action plans
  • Resolve complex customer issues and ensure adherence to national service standards
  • Lead the implementation of new programs, products, and processes within the branch
  • Manage unit operating expenses in accordance with forecasts and bank policies

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a professional banking or financial services environment
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and industry trends
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate within a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail environment
  • Working knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics
  • Familiarity with applicable banking regulations, audit standards, and compliance policies
