Branch Manager I

Responsibilities

• Mentor the team on advice-giving strategies and banking solutions to improve customer financial confidence
• Develop and implement business development strategies to meet branch objectives and budget
• Oversee complex administrative duties related to mutual funds, real estate secured credit, and compliance
• Act as the highest point of escalation for customer issues to ensure effective resolution
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining accuracy in all customer transactions per bank policies
• Cultivate a positive, customer-focused work environment that promotes productivity and professionalism
• Promote the company's image and goodwill by participating in local community events

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and/or over 5 years of relevant banking experience
• Completion of Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) training
• Completion of IFIC or CSC Course
• Extensive knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, policies, and systems
• Proficiency in MS Office and various internet applications
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with customers and cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to make accurate decisions and exercise discretion with confidential information
