Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Christchurch branch to safely deliver profit and service commitments.
• Manage resources to match revenue and ensure budgeted profit is achieved consistently.
• Maintain agreed performance levels for all customers and identify opportunities for new business development.
• Promote Health and Safety best practices, ensuring all operational activities follow safe work practices.
• Facilitate regular team meetings and toolbox sessions to ensure strong internal communication.
• Manage branch culture, team engagement, and personal development requirements for key roles.
• Prepare annual budgets and conduct weekly reviews of financial reports to rectify issues.
• Implement and monitor the company's performance management system and learning initiatives.

Requirements

• Solid management experience in an operational role within the Transport or Logistics industry.
• Proven experience in route planning and fleet management.
• Background in sales or account management.
• Proficiency with FME, Power BI reporting, and E-road systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet time-specific deadlines.
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
