Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations including distribution, warehousing, purchasing, and inventory control
• Manage human resources including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Formulate and follow annual branch budgets and review monthly P&L statements
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements
• Maximize rental fleet utilization and troubleshoot operational problems
• Monitor outgoing deliveries and incoming stock for accuracy
• Maintain store and yard appearance and manage staff scheduling

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in sales or operations within the construction or building materials industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Strong knowledge of construction industry products, techniques, and terminology
• Understanding of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and P&L statements
• Strong written and oral communication skills
