Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with National Heavy Vehicle Law
• Oversee staff, owner drivers, and fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance and regulatory compliance
• Coach and mentor the team to meet operational KPIs and safety standards
• Champion a safety-first culture by leading safety initiatives and investigating incidents
• Manage the branch profit and loss (P&L), focusing on cost control and financial performance
• Coordinate workshop and fleet maintenance activities with third-party contractors

Requirements

• Proven experience managing operational teams within a logistics or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of fleet management and vehicle maintenance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage a P&L and drive financial results
• Experience overseeing complex operations while ensuring strict safety and compliance standards
• Excellent communication skills to engage with staff, contractors, and senior management
