Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a diverse team of approximately 25 operations and administration professionals across the Warrnambool and Hamilton branches.
• Oversee day-to-day operations at multi-service sites, including public-facing transfer stations and council contracts.
• Champion safety and wellbeing to ensure a high-performing culture where all employees return home safe.
• Manage fleet and site operations, ensuring all vehicles and equipment are compliant and well-maintained.
• Drive operational performance by balancing service delivery, efficiency, and cost management.
• Own branch financials and P&L, driving financial performance while managing operational costs.
• Collaborate with internal safety, environment, and fleet experts to ensure best practice outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience managing unionised, operational teams within the waste, logistics, commercial, or Government industries.
• Proven experience in P&L management and driving financial performance.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience overseeing complex, multi-site branch operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage staff, contractors, and senior management.
