About the role
Responsibilities
- Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects
- Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition
- Create innovative business development strategies and conduct cold calls to develop new relationships
- Manage team performance by coaching employees, recognizing achievements, and managing performance gaps
- Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and Bank policy requirements
- Build and maintain a strong community network to enhance the Bank's visibility and referral sources
- Resolve complex customer issues and manage branch operating expenses
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience
- Proven supervisory or management experience
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive marketplace trends
- Strong knowledge of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and influence skills
