About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop branch employees to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals
- Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, customer retention, and acquisition
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and accountability aligned with BMO's values and strategy
- Build and maintain community networks to enhance bank visibility and generate new business referrals
- Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans
- Manage branch operational processes, including expense control and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Resolve complex customer issues and provide technical support to branch staff to maintain operational effectiveness
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in banking or a related field
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven supervisory or management experience
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive marketplace trends
- Strong understanding of branch operational processes, technologies, and performance metrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making abilities
